Hi All, Andrea and I just had a call with Global TV. They wanted to give us a COVID-19 update, particularly in light of the CBC decision to pull back from local news. Global assures us that they remain committed to local programming and any changes to that commitment would, at this time, only happen in response to a staffing issue – i.e. if they don’t have enough production staff able to work to support the local broadcasts. But they will speak to Andrea and I first before making any changes. We have also agreed to have a regular weekly call for state of the union updates with other calls as needed to respond to situations. Any questions, don’t hesitate to call us.
